Battlefield Tour 2006 - Vallenciennes

By kind invitation from Greater Manchester ACF, the Pipes & Drums were privileged to be part of the Battlefield tour around the Somme area of France and the Meningate in Belgium. In many different ways it was a moving experience for us all, but yet very rewarding and a most worthwhile venture for ourselves and the Cadets and Adults from the Manchester area. Our thanks also go to the hospitable people of Vallencienes, especially the Barracks where we were so graciously accomodated.
